LEGISWAY : Contrat’tech publisher

During calls for tender consultations, we were dealing with a growing demand for the integration of electronic signatures with Contrat’tech. This became an almost automatic prerequisite for a large number of businesses and public bodies. By listening to the needs of our customers and prospects, it became obvious that we needed to approach a publisher offering this solution.

French Sales Manager, Legisway

Together, Legisway and Universign signed a promising contract

As a French forerunner on the Contract Management market, Legisway offers Contrat’tech, a comprehensive and innovative software for contract management and the administration of companies’ legal activities. The Contrat’tech solution offers a range of powerful tools to secure companies’ contractual assets, optimise business management, manage risks and obtain a high level of legal compliance across all areas of the company.

The two companies joined forces to implement the electronic signature

The integration of the electronic signature, developed by Universign, marked the completion of a comprehensive document-digitalisation process. This made Contrat’tech – a major reference tool in terms of the management of contracts and legal activities – a comprehensive and “seamless” solution for customers looking to automate their data flows and sign any document: wherever, whenever and on any device.

This adaptation to the needs of the market now allows Legisway to adopt a “zero paper”, “100% digital” or even “smart digitalisation” approach to documents.

“We chose Universign because we have discovered an unparalleled know-how and dynamism in this pure player company. Not just because their status as a European publisher comforted our international customers, but, above all, because their advanced security technology was well proven and met the vital needs of the market.

Universign was able to merge fully with our tool, in such a way that the passage from Contrat’tech to Universign at the moment of “electronic signature” is completely invisible for the signatory.

Universign has therefore become a true partner, capable of completing our software and providing the final stage in the digitalisation of contract processes for our customers”, he asserts.

Benefits of the new feature

With the automatisation of data flows, savings in time and costs, and increased convenience, the advantages of the electronic signature within Contrat’tech are numerous and can be found across the entire solution :

  • Within the Contracts module, for the signature of agreements, approvals and regulated contracts
  • With in the Powers module, for the signature of letters of authority
  • With in the Corporate module, for the signature of shareholders’ agreements

What’s more, the electronic signature offers advantages in the increased security and traceability of exchanges, which is greater than that offered by handwritten signatures – to the benefit of all parties. The different levels of electronic signatures offered by Universign allow for this to be adapted to the most varied levels of security required by customers.

“Legisway’s choice has reinforced the position of Universign as a major player within the market, whose solution is already used by more than 1,000 customers every day”. Christian Dayaux  | Sales Director, Universign

“The digital transformation, including the digitalisation of documents in general and the electronic signature in particular, has become a necessity for the majority of companies, and we are happy and proud to say that Legisway has chosen us to complete their Contrat’tech solution.

We are working together within an evolving market, and the question is no longer whether or not 100% digitalisation is a credible opportunity, but rather how to achieve this as quickly as possible. Furthermore, the new eIDAS European regulation has also contributed to the acceleration of this development, in confirming the legal value of the electronic signature on a European scale. It is also very highly regarded across the world, as a global benchmark” he concludes.

Indeed, the electronic signature is governed and regulated in France and in Europe, with various texts continuing to assert its validity.

Universign actively participates in works allowing for the construction of the regulatory framework necessary to reassure organisations or legal persons who are required to sign electronically. What’s more, the company plays a true missionary role every day, educating others on the legal validity of electronic signatures.

The benefits offered by our electronic signature, which include increased security for flows, simplified procedures, time savings and reduced costs, definitively render this solution an essential tool.

For Legisway, the support of their signatories – often directors of companies – was of vital importance. Feedback has shown that this support is generated immediately, thanks to a user experience which adapts to their way of operating” concludes Christian Dayaux.
